How Twitch Streaming Income Works
Twitch income comes from four main sources: subscriptions (50% split with Twitch for most partners), Bits (virtual currency at $0.01/bit), ad revenue (~$2–$4 CPM on ad-viewing viewers), and direct donations through PayPal or third-party tools.
Standard partner split: 50/50. Twitch ended new 70/30 deals in 2023. At Tier 1 ($4.99), you keep $2.50 per sub. Legacy 70/30 partners keep $3.49.
